Sending & Receiving Faxes
The UC-Line Portal allows designated users to send faxes via email (email-to-fax). In addition, you can add a fax line to your account and then receive faxes as .PDF file attached to emails that are automatically sent to a designated email address (fax-to-email).
Please Note: Outbound faxes are subject to the fair usage agreement. Please refer to the terms and conditions for UC-Line.
1. Fax Setup
Fax is enabled by default for every User-level account. It must be disabled manually. This must be done in the [Settings] tab of the Users Profile section.

Additionally, in the Fax Settings section, User access can be disabled, and you can find Fax Caller ID and Fax Format settings (.PDF/.TIFF) from here.
2. Sending a Fax

- Open the email account linked to your UC-Line User Account.
- Compose a new email.
- In the To field on the new email composer window, enter the fax number you want to send your fax to, followed by the domain @fax.nsvconnect.com,
Example: 2013487000@fax.nsvconnect.com. - Attach the document to be faxed as a .PDF or .TIFF file.
- Send the email.
3. Receiving a Fax
- Open the email account linked to your UC-Line User Account.
- Faxes are received as an attachment to an email.

4. Fax History
The history of sent and received faxes can be found in the Fax Summary section of the UC-Line Portal.

Can Send Fax: | Allows you to disable or enable the use of faxing | |
Fax Caller ID: | Allows you to choose which number is used to send faxes. To choose something other than Anonymous, you must have a dedicated DID for faxing. | |
Incoming Fax Format: | You can choose to receive faxes as PDF or TIFF files. |
On the right side of the page, you can see a history of your sent and received faxes.
